Google AdSense approval

Google AdSense is the most popular ad service platform owned and run by the Tech giants Google. Website owners or bloggers can generate revenue from this platform by clicks on the ads placed on their blog.

But before you start making money from Google AdSense, there are things that have to be put in place before you will be approved. Your account will not be approved if your website doesn’t meet their standards.

Before we get started for this tutorial, I believe your blog is up and running. You can get this eBook to learn how to start up a new blog and design it.

It’s quite simple and you can get it up and running in 20 minutes.

Now let’s go to the memory lane.

1. SITE DESIGN

When it comes to getting a Google AdSense approval, your site design really matters a lot.

You wouldn’t want to apply for a Google AdSense account when your website or blog is still under construction.

I believe in the first two days of creating your blog, you should spend much time on the site design – designing it in a way that is attractive to the visitors and glue them to your website.

If you use a self-hosted WordPress, it’s so easy to get started with your site design. This is because there are a lot of WordPress themes you can choose from.

In addition to that, WordPress plugins like elementor can help you design your website through drag and drops.

2. NAVIGATION

As part of the design process, the navigation must be put in place in order to get a Google AdSense approval.

The goal of the navigation is to guide your website visitors around your website so that their needs are met.

In other words, these are the important navigation you must set on your website before you can be approved by AdSense

  • The about us page
  • The contact us page
  • The privacy policy page
  • The terms and conditions page

In the about us page, you simply have to describe what your business is all about.

In the contact us page, you provide the channels your visitors can be able to contact you. To make it easy, you can add a contact form. In WordPress, this can be easily done using a plugin called Contact form 7.

You don’t really need to rack your brain trying to craft out Privacy policy and Terms and conditions. You can use this tool called SERPRANK to generate that in a few minutes.

These are the 4 important pages you need to put in place to get Google AdSense approval.

3. WRITE QUALITY CONTENT

After your first one week of starting your blog, where you designed and customized your blog to your taste. The next thing is to start crafting out quality contents.

I suggest you post at last 7-10 quality contents that are plagiarism-free

What I mean by quality contents is an article that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. These articles should be able to communicate information; of course, that’s why you’re blogging – to share information.

This is where a lot of new bloggers get it wrong. Google is too smart, and they are ready definitely scan all your articles to make sure it is plagiarism-free.

This will also help you when you begin your search engine optimization in order to rank higher in Google search results.

Though this may vary, depending on the niche you’re in, you should aim at producing longer contents that adds value and solve problems than mediocre contents of 200-300 words.

If you’ve been an ardent user of Google search, you’ll discover that you tend to prefer longer and detailed contents than mediocre contents.

Also, images also matter when it comes to getting approved by Google. If you can’t design your own images, always use a free platform like Canva or get free images at Pixabay, Lifeofpix or Pexels.

In other words, they are contents that are prohibited by Google. This includes copyrighted contents, adult contents, weapons and contents that promote illegal stuff. Even when you are approved, you must keep by the rules. Any violation can lead to a ban.

4. STICK WITH ADSENSE

Stick with AdSense for your new blog. You can diversify later.

I know you want to make a lot of money by having a lot of companies you are advertising for. While that’s a good idea, it can also be a limitation to getting a Google AdSense approval.

To recap, Make sure your site design is good and attractive (or you can also hire a website designer to do that for you), Fill up your navigations, write like 10 quality contents, then stick with AdSense for the meantime.

Finally,  If you follow diligently the above steps I have outlined, then you are ready to apply for Google AdSense and get approved.

Simply go to Google AdSense to apply and start making money from your blog. When you apply, relax and wait for the approval.
